What We're Doing

Powering Healthcare with Solar Energy

We urgently need your help to raise £30,000 to install solar panels at Kasguma Hospital. With the unreliable power supply in Azad Kashmir, this project will provide a consistent and reliable source of electricity, ensuring that critical medical equipment operates without interruption. By generating our own electricity, the hospital can also reduce energy costs, allowing us to invest more in patient care and essential services. Your contribution can help transform healthcare in our community. read more…

Naz Reflects on Supporting KHWT as Mayor of Walsall

During my time serving as the Mayor of Walsall Town (UK), I was honoured to be invited as the chief guest for the formal opening ceremony of this hospital. I was further delighted to see many people give donations through my mayoral charity for this project. I strongly believe the KHWT is in the safe hands of hard working trustees who will continue to work hard to make the trust operationally and financially a strong 'not for profit' organisation.

Robertson on Collaborative Efforts: A Shared Vision for Humanity

Working closely with KHWT for a number of years has been a pleasure as we have similar aims at OAK TREE TRUST, striving for the good of humanity on Joint projects involving: providing FREE cataract operations and FREE dental care along with food donations. The outreach work in schools has given a lead in getting over the message on how children can keep their mouths healthy and avoid tooth decay. Brushing their teeth well and especially last thing before bed whilst avoiding frequent sugary snacks or drinks make a great preventable message.

Gatrad Commends KHWT's Growth and Impact

I have seen this hospital blossom over the last few years under the stewardship of Muhammad Mustafa and his management team and I am delighted to see it continue to flourish. One of the highlights is the regular eye camps that are held there which benefit people from all over the region. I have accompanied KHWT and witnessed the fantastic work that is being done in helping build/repair schools and the facilities.
